Mt. Charleston Resort Wedding | Jenna & Greg: Pastel Roses & Doggie Treats
Words cannot describe how beautiful this wedding was to capture. Of course, a wedding in 2020 meant the couple's dream wedding of over a 100 guests had to be altered to an intimate family and friends gathering, however, I truly believe their day still turned out to be the day they prayed for. With a third date change being the winner, this August wedding in the mountains just outside Las Vegas, made for a gorgeous venue and experience.
When I first arrived to The Resort on Mt. Charleston, the sky was blue with fluffy passing clouds. However, just as the outside ceremony was about to begin, a rain cloud hung over us and we had to wait out the rain. They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. I like to believe it's the happy tears of our loved ones passed that are sharing their joy with the couple. Luckily, the rain passed within minutes so the ceremony went on as planned and the guests enjoyed wonderful mountain breezes and cooler temps (a southern Nevada summer blessing).
Anyone who knows me knows I'm a dog lover, so naturally, the fact this couple included their fur babies on their day was a highlight for me. These sweet girls were the best flower girls ever and were extremely well behaved. The couple also included doggie treat gift bags as favors to their guests to take home to their pups. I've never seen this gesture before and my pups want to say thank you for thinking of them too!
