The Little White Wedding Chapel is one of the most famous wedding chapels on Las Vegas Blvd and for good reason. It’s long been popular for quick, celebrity-style weddings, intimate elopements, and couples who want something iconic without the stress of a traditional ceremony. Over the years, famous couples like Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck, Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner, Bruce Willis & Demi Moore, plus Michael Jordan & Juanita Vanoy have all chosen to get married here — adding to the chapel’s legendary Vegas status.

The experience is fast-paced, full of personality, and unapologetically Vegas.

1. Arrive Early to the chapel & Let the Elopement Excitement Do the Work

Check-in for your elopement at the Little White Chapel happens about 30 minutes before your ceremony time. You’ll head into the lobby, take care of paperwork, and receive your colored flag that signals your ceremony group.

Once that’s done, it’s time to start photos instead of just waiting around for what feels like forever till it's your turn to say "I Do".

This is the perfect time window for:

  • Iconic shots under the marquee

  • Photos around the chapel façade

  • Those nervous, excited, “is this really happening?” moments

You’re not married yet — and that anticipation creates the most natural smiles and connection. These moments often end up being couple favorites because they feel real and unforced.

2. Be Prepared for a Quick Ceremony

Most ceremonies at the Little White Wedding Chapel are about 7 minutes long — short, sweet, and efficient.

There are a few ways to extend or elevate the experience:

  • The premium Elvis package, where Elvis drives you through the Tunnel of Love in the pink Cadillac

  • Adding the magician officiant, which brings a fun, unexpected flair to the ceremony

Either way, ceremonies move fast — so being present matters more than posing. Trust that the magic happens quickly here.

3. Use Your Ceremony Space Time Intentionally

After the ceremony, you’ll usually have up to 10 minutes inside your ceremony space (sometimes less on very busy days).

This is a great time for:

  • Group photos

  • Cozy, just-married moments together

  • Posed photos with Elvis (if he's your officiant)

  • A quiet pause before stepping back into the excitement

The key is having a plan with your photographer so this time is used efficiently — no scrambling, no guessing.

4. Plan a Grand Exit (Even If It’s Just the Two of You)

Walking out of the chapel doors is such a moment — don’t skip it.

Some fun ideas:

  • A spin

  • A dip + a kiss

  • A jump

  • A pause under the awning

It’s celebratory, joyful, and also great for video clips if you’re capturing content for social media.

5. Don’t Skip the Front Lawn

The front lawn is an underrated photo spot.

It offers:

  • A little greenery

  • Vintage chapel charm

  • Space for group photos without feeling cramped

It’s also a great visual break if your gallery is heavy on signage and street shots.

6. Use the Chapel’s “Vegas Sign” the Right Way

Yes — the Little White Wedding Chapel has its own Vegas-style sign, and yes, it lights up.

For the best photos:

  • Don’t stand directly underneath it by the wall

  • Step forward so the sign frames you

  • Try the nearby bench for a fun, different angle

It looks surprisingly similar to the real Las Vegas sign and is right there on the property.

7. Want Tunnel of Love Photos? You Have to Book It

The only way to guarantee photos under the Tunnel of Love is to:

  • Book it as part of your ceremony, or

  • Add the 15-minute photo add-on

Once there:

  • Walk hand-in-hand

  • Spin, kiss, laugh

  • Use the parked pink Cadillac — because nothing screams Vegas elopement more than that car

There are also heart details everywhere, from iron gates to sayings on the ground. Creative shots with these little details are often some of my couples’ favorite images.

8. Plan for Crowds (and a Little Chaos)

This venue is extremely popular. There are six different ceremony options happening throughout the day, which means:

  • Other couples

  • Guests

  • Photographers and videographers

  • Multiple Elvises (yes — plural)

Most people are excited and respectful, but patience goes a long way in keeping the experience fun and stress-free.

Heads up: dates like Valentine’s Day or number-heavy dates (think 02/26/2026) are especially busy. Don’t be late, and expect a bit of a roller-coaster vibe.

9. Trust the Staff — They’re There to Help

The chapel staff runs a tight ship from the parking lot security to the check-in staff, and for good reason.

They:

  • Handle hundreds of guests a day

  • Keep couples safe

  • Navigate the fact that the chapel sits in an older part of town with plenty of “characters” along the public sidewalk

Chapel photographers do get priority in certain spots, but once again, kindness and flexibility go a long way in keeping everything light, fun, and drama-free.

10. Wear the Unconventional Attire

If there’s any place where tradition becomes optional, it’s the Little White Wedding Chapel.

I’ve photographed gold, pink, and black dresses here, along with short mini dresses, sheer details, and full wedding gowns. I’ve seen fun and funky shoes, western-inspired looks, gold suits, and bold statement pieces — and just as often, beautifully minimal outfits that feel modern, effortless, and timeless.

You don’t have to be flashy to belong here — but if you want to be, this is absolutely the place to do it. Whether your style is bold or understated, playful or simple, the chapel welcomes it all.

So wear the outfit you’d never choose anywhere else, or the one that feels comfortable and natural the moment you put it on. Let your style be an extension of who you are, move at your own pace, and allow the photos to reflect that ease.

A Vegas-Style Sendoff

It’s fast, it’s busy, and it’s iconic for a reason. So grab those heart-colored glasses, wear the nontraditional wedding attire, and let you Little White Wedding Chapel elopement become part of your love story. Viva Las Vegas.
